Anita had a massive Ischemic stroke. She was taken to the hospital by ambulance and was immediately put into surgery to remove three massive blood clots from her brain. She was then transported to The University of Utah Hospital for observation for brain swelling where she was placed in the ICU for about a week. She was then transferred to Acute Care for more treatment and tests. She has spent many hours in speech, occupational, and physical therapy. She has spent over a month now in the hospital. She still has a very long road to recovery and therapy to help her heal. OBR would like to help raise money for her with medical expenses and bills.
